Santoprene® (TPE)Advantages: This highly durable thermoplastic elastomer is resistant to fatigue, ozone, ultraviolet, acids, alkalis, oils and lubricants. It has good flex fatigue performance, good extended life cycle performance and is a material cost savings vs. silicone tubing. Santoprene® has a broad operating temperature range of - 40 to 250 ºF and provides functional performance and properties similar to conventional thermoset rubber products, but can be processed with the speed, efficiency and economy of thermoplastics. Santoprene® is used in a variety of applications in the automotive, construction, electrical, appliance, business machine and consumer markets.
